Description
View north-east showing a two-storey, detached former stable block to Park Lodge in Park Road, Uxbridge. The almost symmetrical building has a pair of recessed brick arches to the front elevation, each containing a door and window. One of a pair of oriel windows can be seen at first-floor level with radiating glazed panels visible. A ground-floor window is boarded up. There is a single-storey extension visible. There is overgrown vegetation in the courtyard and to roof-level on part of the front elevation of the building. There is a metal dustbin in the courtyard. The building was erected c1800 and demolished together with Park Lodge house in 1968. Today, the site is used as an early years education centre.
