Rear elevation of a large, detached two-storey, sixteenth-century timber-framed farmhouse at St George's Meadows, Mill Road, West Drayton. Formerly known as Woodpecker Farm, this timber-framed house has a high-pitched tiled roof with plaster filling to the timbers. The windows are nineteenth-century lattice casement. The house has a tall, external, brick chimney stack. There is a large wooden trellis frame leaning against the rear wall. This was the former home of the physician and social reformer, Henry Havelock Ellis (1859-1939). The house was given to the National Trust in 1960. It is Grade II listed, listing number 1180958. The house is within the West Drayton Green conservation area.
