Elm Park Court in Elm Park Road
South block entrance to numbers 35-52, facing main entrance of inner court of Elm Park Court, Elm Park Road, Pinner. Elm Park Court is a Grade II listed Art Deco estate of three blocks of flats around a central courtyard and pond, built in 1936 by H.V. Webb. They are white stucco buildings with distinctive pantiled hipped roofs with green tiles, designed in the ‘Hacienda’ style, a strain of Art Deco influenced by the Spanish colonial architecture featured in glamorous Hollywood films. Projecting balconies supported on timber brackets and with metal railings set over V-shaped balcony fronts can be seen. All window frames painted green, with entrance doors in black surround with green detailing.
