Description
View of St Mary Overy (also spelled St Mary Overie) Wharf and Dock (also known as St Saviour's Dock) from the river near London Bridge, Borough. A barge is visible and the spire of Southwark Cathedral can be seen in the distance. A dry dock still exists in the same location and now has a replica of the Golden Hinde, Sir Francis Drake's ship which circumnavigated the globe between 1577-1580.
