View of Victoria Embankment, Westminste, taken from Westminster Bridge on a busy, sunny, summer day. From left to right can be seen St Stephen's House and St Stephen's Parade, now demolished to make way for Portcullis House; Grade II* listed Norman Shaw South Building (listing number 1357349) connected by an arch to the Grade I Norman Shaw North Building (listing number 1274511), both the former homes to New Scotland Yard between 1890 and 1967; and finally the Curtis Green Building, built in 1935 and, since 2013, the current home of New Scotland Yard. In the foreground is the Westminster Pier with three tourist boats of various sizes moored and the public, in shirtsleeves, on the boats and on the pier. An articulated lorry with 'Ozalid' on the side drives by.
