Description
View of 14-20 Stafford Place, City of Westminster. Terrace of late-eighteenth and early-nineteenth-century houses. Grade II listed, entry 1236634. Numbers 14,18 and 20 have three storeys with basement, mansard roof and dormer windows. Number 16 has four storeys with basement. All have round-headed entrances and cast-iron railings around basement areas. Number 16 bears a Greater London Council blue plaque to Lord Hore-Belisha (1895-1957), statesman associated with the creation of the Belisha Beacon. The six-storey Stafford Mansions is visible on the right and several cars are parked on the road.
