View taken from Maddox Street, looking south-west towards 130-134 New Bond Street, Mayfair. The centre block at 131-134 is a five-storey commercial premises built in 1914 to an Arts & Crafts design. The ground floor has original plate-glass shop fronts flanking a central hooded doorway. The front elevation above the ground floor is symmetrical, comprising a pair of bay windows either side of a central two-window range. There is a balcony with metal railings running the full length of the building. Number 131-132 is trading as, "Beale & Inman" an independent men's outfitters, which was taken over by Moss Bros in the late 1970s. Number 133 is trading as, "Kuoni Challis & Benson" travel agents. The block is Grade II listed, listing number 1224466. To the right is a partial view of the shop front of the "National Linen Co.", which was established in 1845. This company ceased trading in the mid 1970s. The shop fronts of numbers 134-136 can also be seen. To the extreme left is a partial view of 46 New Bond Street at the junction with Maddox Street. Window awnings can be seen and a traffic light in view. A car is parked in the street.
