Buildings in Mount Row
Description
View of the front and side elevations of Carpenter's Buildings, artisan dwellings at 1-12 Carpenter Street, Mayfair, at the corner of Mount Row. The building is two bays wide in Carpenter Street to the right and five wide to Mount Row. It has three storeys plus basement and attic storeys. Railings surround the basement area. Some of the homes have floral window boxes outside their windows. The building no longer exists and a later block called Connaught House stands on the site. The image is credited to the Grosvenor Estate office.
