Description
View of the front and side elevations of a grand end-terrace house at 69 Mount Street, Mayfair, at the corner of Rex Place. The building has two storeys plus mansarded attic and basement and is faced in brick. It is two-windows wide to Mount Street and four wide to Rex Place. Railings surround the basement area. Several cars are parked in the street including a Humber Sceptre with registration number GMG807N and a Triumph 2000 with registration number NUV41L. Dating from 1896-97 and designed by Thackeray Turner and Eustace James Anthony Balfour, number 69 Mount Street was built by Kensington builders Charles Daw and Son for the Grosvenor Estate.
