View of the front elevation of 23 Suffolk Street, Westminster. A large terrace house built in 1822-23 as part of John Nash’s Suffolk Street to Suffolk Place Development. Numbers 20-22 Suffolk Street are Grade II* listed. There is a lamp column to the left with a sign hanging from it, indicating a 'No Through Road'. This lamp column is Grade II listed, listing number 1237165. Number 23 now bears a London County Council blue plaque for Liberal MP and political economist Richard Cobden (1804-1865) who died there.
