Description
View of the roof and rear elevation of a building at 140-141 Strand, Covent Garden. There are skylights in the roof. The building beyond has multiple ranges. The building no longer exists and a later commercial development occupies the site. In the distance is a side elevation of Inveresk House. Dating from 1906-07 and designed by Mewes and Davis as the offices of The Morning Post newspaper, Inveresk House at 346 Strand and 1-5 Aldwych was Grade II listed in 1986; listing number 1210080.
