Description
A view of the front elevations of buildings at 9-11 Golden Square, Soho. Numbers 9 and 10 have about six storeys and have retail or business premises on the ground floor and other accommodation above. The ground floor of number 9 is Richard H Pexton Ltd while Number 10 has PH Vogel & Co Ltd. Number 11 is an 18th century brick house of four storeys plus basement and three windows wide. Railings surround the basement areas. A cart with the name of building company OC Summers Ltd on the side is seen in the road. A man is on the pavement nearby. The buildings still exist. Dating from about 1778 but with its front rebuilt in facsimile in 1954, number 11 Golden Square was Grade II* listed in 1958, listing number 1357035.
