Description
View north-westwards of front elevations of 15-16 Grosvenor Street, Mayfair. The properties are shown being renovated whilst retaining the front facades. Scaffolding and hanging platforms hide most of the brickwork and ground floor, but the five window wide openings of number 16 and the three window wide openings of number 15 are recognisable. A board names the contractors as F. G. Minter. Number 16 was built 1720 as a townhouse. Number 15 was entirely rebuilt in the early-nineteenth century to be the Rectory of St George's Church, Hanover Square. Number 16, now comprising 15 and 16, is Grade II listed, listing number 1228512. A saloon car and a transit van are parked outside.
