Title
House in Grosvenor Street
Description
View south-eastwards of front elevation of 69 Grosvenor Street, Mayfair. It is a four-storey, four window wide, stucco-fronted property with basement and attics. The entrance is on the left, covered by a portico, and spear-headed area railings surround the entrance and basement. At the first floor is a decorated cast-iron balcony. All the windows are archetraved and have a shallow arch and keystone. There is a parapet above the top main storey, and behind it is the dormered mansard. A board advertises that the property is to be sold. Amongst its previous occupants from 1828-46 was Henry Gally Knight, politician and writer on architecture.
