Description
View westwards of 2 to 4 Grosvenor Street, Mayfair, including the Grosvenor Arms public house. The Grosvenor Arms (on right) is at number 2, Cecil Davis Ltd Antiques at number 3, and Anne Bloom Antiques beyond the lane to Avery Row is at number 4. The pub is wood and glass-panelled, with grimy stone and brick above, and has a steep-pitched roof. Its brickwork parapet is carved with a coat of arms. 3, to the left, is a four-storey, three window wide, stone-fronted with display windows and a pyramid-shaped roof. Number 4 has display windows with awnings, and quoin-edging to the brickwork facade above. These properties have since changed in their business use, and the public house closed in 2012.
