Title
Beecholme Garage in Nightingale Lane
Description
View, looking east, of the corner of a Beecholme Garage at 39 Nightingale Lane, Balham. On the wall is a double-sided forecourt clock advertising K.L.G spark plugs that had the slogan "Too good to miss". Signs around the building advertises former membership of the MAA (Manufactures'' Agents Association), Fisk tyre service, Goodyear tyres, Castrol and Autoclean together with a hot drinks machine in a rough shelter. Discarded fencing materials along with the dilapidated state of the showroom on the right indicates that the business had closed down. The buildings have since been demolished and replaced by a Sainsbury's petrol station.
