House in Queensmere Road
Description
A view of the front elevation of a two-storey detached house at 19 Queensmere Road, Wimbledon. The house, built in the Tudorbethan style in the early 1930s contains a gabled entrance. The windows, which are likely metal framed, are in a style popular in the 1930s. To the right of the house is a garage. The house is fronted by a garden comprising a lawn and flower beds. The house no longer survives, having been demolished at an unknown date. Gonston Close and houses along it were laid out and built on the site in the 1970s and 1980s.
