A view of the front and side of the three-storey early Edwardian Vicarage for St Luke's, Battersea at 192 Ramsden Road, Balham shrouded by trees in the vicarage grounds. The vicarage which was commissioned and paid for by Canon John Erskine Clarke the vicar of St Luke's Battersea, was designed by J S. Quilter and built in 1901 by Lathey Brothers. The house was originally commissioned as a home for Reverand Charles Erkine Clarke and his family by his uncle Canon John Erskine Clarke.
