Title
Houses in Riggindale Road
Description
A view of the fronts of three-storey circa late Victorian houses at numbers 4-8 Riggindale Road, Streatham. Notable features on the houses include a first floor balcony on the front of number 6 and rooms at roof level lit by dormer windows, a window set into a gable at number 6 and a bay window at number 8. The houses are bordered by brick walls and hedges intersected by wooden gates. Further down the road behind the tree on the left of the photograph can be seen the roof of the house at number 10. The houses survived with some alterations including the moving of the entrance at number 6 (the old entrance became a window) and were split up into flats at an unknown date.
