Description
A view of the front elevation of 3 Rectory Grove, Clapham. The early nineteenth-century building has a two-storey annexe adjacent to the entrance. The front entrance contains a semicircular fanlight. Two people are sitting in a plainly decorated room on the first floor windows, indicating that the property was used for business; an illegible business sign can be seen attached to the annexe entrance. A tall ladder is propped up against the entrance, and wooden planks are leaning against the wall inside. On either side of the steps are iron railings, and a metal rubbish bin and a crate containing what appears to be empty milk bottles stand by. A tree stump can be seen on the far right of the property. The building has survived and has been converted back into a private house. The front boundary wall has been removed and the front of the annexe used as a driveway.
