On the front fence is a sign for District Line Station over Putney Bridge. On the river there are two Thames Sailing Barges along with some lighters. To the right is Putney Bridge and St Mary's Church which is Grade II* listed, listing number 1065519. The river is in flood and has come over the bank flooding the road. There are is a police officer and a gentleman standing on top of the bridge parapet holding onto the street light. In front of the church gates is a crowd of onlookers. In the middle of the road, a police officer is talking to a man wearing a top hat. Another crowd of onlookers, including a few children, stands in front of the White Lion, some are looking at the camera and one young man is wearing a straw hat. Bridge Wharf has since disappeared; the White Lion and buildings to the left are still standing but have been modernised.
