Description
View of first-floor landing in Ashburton House, Putney Heath, Putney, looking towards the front bay window. The door is arched, with a curtain pole above and ornate decoration to the arch supports. A wooden coffered ceiling is visible beyond it. The stairwell features twisted wooden balusters. Two doors on either side of the stairwell have ornamental arched doorcases. Ashburton House was demolished in the early 1950s and Ashburton housing estate now covers the area.
