View of shop fronts at 2-12 Putney High Street, Putney, on the junction with Lower Richmond Road. Number 12 is Bridge Snack Bar with a ladies' and gents' hairdressers on the floor above. Number 10 is a Continental Delicatessen. Number 8 is a bookmakers. Numbers 4 and 6 are Dowell Lloyd Auctioneers, who are still in existence in Putney Bridge Road. Number 2 is an Indian restaurant. The building to the left of number 12 is The White Lion public house which is Grade II listed, listing number 1184658; two women stand outside its entrance. A bicycle is resting against the railings outside the snack bar. Thre are traffic lights outside the delicatessen, a motor car passing across the road, a street light outside the bookmakers, traffic light outside the auctioners, and pedestrians on the pavement with trees in the background. All these buildings are still in existence.
