On the far side of West India Dock Road, the steel framing of a two-storey print works, warehousing and offices, see under construction by Fairweather (demolished in 2008 and replaced with a 30-storey hotel and mixed-used development c2017 ), adjacent to the viaduct carrying the former London and Blackwall Railway, later, the Docklands Light Railway, and the site of West Ferry DLR station, over West Ferry Road and Limehouse Causeway. Shops and businesses can be seen on the left including the former premises of Davey & Co London Ltd, ships fittings makers in the three-storey building with the Gothic stucco arched entrance. The public housing blocks of the St Vincent Estate in Limehouse Hole can be seen behind together with the cranes of Limekiln Dock and adjacent wharves, in the distance, along with the buildings and tall chimney of Taylor Walker & Co. Ltd Barley Mow Brewery. Vehicles visible include a Mercedes-Benz Ponton, Austin A60 Cambridge, A55 Cambridge estate and A40 Farina models, an Austin/Morris J-type van, an AEC drop-sided lorry, Ford Consul Mark II saloon and Thames 300E van models, a Humber Super Snipe, a Mazawattee Tea Company Morris F-series box lorry, and a motor scooter with a tall screen.
