The Grade II listed, entry 1242221, Passmore Edwards Sailors Palace at 680 Commercial Road is visible on the right, and the German Sailors Home on the far left at 14 West India Dock Road. Pedestrians include a woman on the zebra crossing pushing a pram. Vehicles include Bedford CA vans and an Austin A40 Farina, parked either side of the road, and an Austin FX4 Taxi heading west. The shops have since been demolished and replaced by a four-storey mixed-use development.
