Description
Front elevation of 1 Marius Road, Balham, at the corner of Balham High Road. Once the premises of Temperance Billiards Hall, it features a round vestibule with a domed roof and pillars. A FOR SALE sign is attached above the entrance, and the wall is covered in events posters advertising Circus Hoffman, David Essex, Larry Coryell, and others. A Mini Cooper motor van is parked on the pavement and a Volkswagen K70 car is parked on the carriageway. The building no longer exists, having been replaced with modern residential and commercial buildings.
