Description
A view of Pier Head, Wapping, taken from the foreshore of the River Thames by the entrance to Wapping Basin and the Western Dock. The curved walls of the dock entrance, protected with timber piling, can be seen below the building. A large tree stands on the embankment. Number 1-4 Pier Head is situated on Wapping High Street and extends through to the riverside. The houses were originally built for employees of London Docks in the early 1800s and are Grade II listed (listing number 1260059, listed in 1950).
