Title
Houses in Highbury Park
Description
A view of the front elevations of a part of a row of late Georgian terraced houses at 31-33 Highbury Park, Islington. The houses have five storeys including the basement. They are two windows wide with wrought iron juliet balconies at the first-floor windows. They have a heavy horizontal moulding below the top storey. The doorcases have a Doric column at each side and the front doors have an unusual roundel design. A Ford Cortina Mark II is parked outside the houses and a Ford Cortina Mark I is partially visible nearer to the camera. Built about 1825 to 1830, numbers 23 to 61 (odd) Highbury Park were Grade II listed in 1972; listing number 1207421.
