Title
House in Green Lanes
Description
A view of the front elevation of a substantial semi-detached house at 136 Green Lanes, Stoke Newington. The double-fronted house is accessed along a path with two short columns at the pavement's edge and with steps up to the front door. It has a porch supported on Doric columns and decorated with triglyphs. The front elevation is three windows wide. The main house has four storeys but has been extended with a ramshackle roof construction to add further accommodation. The property has well developed trees and shrubs in the front garden. The house no longer exists and a low-rise local authority residential block, Prome House, stands on the site.
