Description
Numbers 76-82 Commercial Street, Stepney, a terrace of three-storey buildings with business premises and shops at street level. Number 76 is Nanda's restaurant, 78 I. Grossman newsagent, 80 S.Oster Textile Merchant, and 82 The Rice Centre. Christ Church Spitalfields can be seen to the left of this terrace. This Anglican church was built between 1714 and 1729 to a design by Nicholas Hawksmoor. A woman with scarf and a girl in school uniform are waiting at the bus stop outside number 82.
