A derelict site is in the foreground and a newsagent occupies 73 Three Colt Street on the right, at the corner with Grenade Street. On the corner with Northey Street and next to an advert for Esso, is The King & Queen public house. Shops and the clock tower of Saint Anne's Anglican church are visible in the distance. The block of flats to the right is Padstow House, built in the 1950s. Ropemakers Fields no longer exists.
