Title
Derelict shop in Rhodeswell Road
Description
Derelict shop at 17 Rhodeswell Road, Limehouse, on the corner of Coutts Road, and part of number 15, viewed from Rhodeswell Road looking north-west. The shop door and window panes are missing, as is a back door on Coutts Road. The ground-floor window of number 15 has broken panes. There is a telegraph pole outside number 17 and also a Belisha beacon pole which has lost its amber globe top but there is no zebra crossing. The street is cobbled. These buildings no longer exist. The site was included in the Locksley Estate development in 1957-58 and is now part of Mile End Park.
