Houses in St Paul’s Way
Description
Side view of houses at 13-19 St Paul’s Way, Bow, in the process of demolition, viewed from the site of a demolished house at number 11, looking south-east. The flues of number 13’s seven chimneys can be seen, including one at the back of the house in a one-storey scullery. Behind the house part of another building is visible. Only the fronts of numbers 15-19 can be seen. Behind them are houses in Timothy Road and a railway bridge with two arches. In the foreground is wasteland with grass, spindly bushes and rubbish including the body of a pram. Mile End Park and Leisure Centre are on the site where these houses stood.
