Description
Pixley Street, looking east from Locksley Street (renamed Copenhagen Place) towards Burdett Street, Limehouse. On the left is number 1 Locksley Street (renumbered 90 Copenhagen Place) and on the right is the Sanitas disinfectant factory (on a site previously occupied by the Copenhagen Oil Mills) the which was acquired in 1906 and abandoned in the 1930s when Sanitas moved to Clapham. Further down the street on the right is Victoria Lead Works (since demolished). In the centre, in the distance on Burdett Road, is Butler House social housing block. Cars line the street on both sides.
