Description
View of terraced houses at 6-18 Folgate Street, Spitalfields, looking west. To the left of number 18 in the foreground, 15 Spital Square has been demolished leaving a vacant plot. Numbers 10-18 are brown brick buildings built c1724 and Grade II listed, listing number 1357829. Number 16 is occupied by The London Co-operative Society, fruit and vegetable department, and M. Bardiger Ltd trades at number 10. Numbers 6 and 8 are three-storey terraced houses built in the early-nineteenth century. Grade II listed, listing number 1065197. Numerous cars are parked on the street and offices in Norton Folgate can be seen in the distance.
