Description
Front elevations of 196-222 Cable Street, Shadwell, looking east. The houses date from the late eighteenth century and are Grade II listed together with the rest of the terrace that comprises even numbers 194-224, listing number 1065285. All the cast iron railings have been removed for the war effort and have since been mainly replaced. Window shutters are in place on the lower windows of number 196. A small screen is around a paving slab that is uplifted.
