Description
The yard and rear elevations of 7-9 Eagle Wharf Road, Hoxton, a row of two-storey brick buildings which appear to be derelict. The access road to the yard runs underneath the top floor of number 8 Eagle Wharf Road, through the arch an Austin 1100 can be seen parked on the road. In front of the arch is a group of four men and next to them is a tripod-mounted theodolite. A dilapidated wooden shed, with debris strewn in front of it, can be seen on the right. On the left hand side stands a three-storey industrial building with an external metal fire escape, two workmen are standing on the landing. Rubbish is piled under the fire escape and a large puddle covers the cobbled surface of the yard. The buildings and yard have been replaced by Bletsoe Walk part of Hackney Council's Shepherd Market Estate.
