Description
View looking south-west at the back of the buildings on Whitechapel Road and the corner of Davenant Street, Whitechapel, from Davenant Foundation School playground which is being used as a car park. A playground since 1862, it was once the eastern part of St Mary's burial ground (disused from 1853). The car park is filled with cars, amongst them a Triumph Herald (LMX 365C) and a Ford Cortina (YJH 965F).
