Description
Front elevations of terraced houses at 5-7 Midlothian Road (formerly St Ann’s Road), Stepney. The houses and Midlothian Road itself no longer exist; they were demolished for the creation of Mile End Park. The chalk sign resting against the door indicates that the houses were earmarked for demolition at the time the photograph was taken. A car with registration GUL41J is parked in the road.
