Description
Side elevation of the western block of Langdale Mansions, taken from Burslem Street, Stepney. The name of the mansions is shown in a large brick plaque with pillars and a pediment above, stating the mansions were built in 1905. Langdale Mansions stood in three sections, two in the block flanked by Burslem Street in the north, Ponler Street in the south, Wicker Street in the west, and Langdale Street in the east, and a third smaller block on the east side of Langdale Street. These four-storey mansions no longer exist and have been replaced with new housing. There are various vehicles parked in the street including a van with the name G. Tailor & Sons, Grocers.
