Description
Third-floor landing at 58 Artillery Lane, Spitalfields, with attic access. This mid-eighteenth century house with a shop front is Grade II listed, listing number 1251018. After World War II, number 58 was merged with number 56 into a single office building. The buildings were refurbished after a major fire in 1972, and c2006 they were sold to Alex Sainsbury, heir to the Sainsbury's food chain, who converted them into the Raven Row free art exhibition space.
