Description
View of 48-55 Lansdowne Place, Bermondsey, looking south from Law Street. Number 55, on the corner, appears to have been a shop. The building at the very end of the street on the left was a Ragged School. The street still exists however the buildings were demolished to make way for Pilgrim House in the Tabard Gardens Estate. The estate was completed in January 1925 and provided housing for over 2,500 people.
