Description
View of the west side of Winchester Square, Bankside, which was the original courtyard of the thirteenth-century Winchester Palace. The modern building was one of the warehouses of fruit importer JO Sims Ltd who were once one of only two fruit auctioneers in London. Several saloon cars are parked around the square. All of the warehouses around the square have since been either demolished and rebuilt or converted to residential apartments and offices.
