Building in Chalton Street
Description
View of Weir's Passage from Chalton Street, King's Cross, with three and two-storey buildings. Shop front of Men’s Institute is visible on the left. In the facade of the building the graffiti ‘Mission’ is visible between first and second floors. A trestle table covered with books is standing outside, along with a pushchair inscribed with a ‘3/6’ writing. A haircutting and shaving saloon are on the right. The shadow of a man, a poster advertising for ‘Ideal Milk’, three carts, three trestles and some wooden boards are visible in Weir’s Passage. The buildings no longer exist; modern buildings occupy the site today.
