Title
Derelict shop in Whitfield Street
Description
Front view of 141 Whitfield Street, Fitzrovia. The shop looks abandoned, with windows sealed by printed boards and corrugated iron sheeting. Signs for Indian Restaurant along with a neon sign display for Kwali – the T and I missing - are visible. Traces of snow are visible on the pavement where a car is parked. A man is walking on the pavement. The street suffered severely from air raids during World War II; most of its buildings have been replaced.
