Description
Lateral view of the wrought-iron gates at the British Medical Association in Upper Woburn Place, Bloomsbury. The gate separates the Eastern and Western courtyards. It was designed by Lutyens as a World War I memorial and opened on 13 July 1925 by the Archbishop of Canterbury. A sign display for Car Park is visible outside the gate. World War II memorial designed by James Woodford in 1954 is partially visible in the background; the memorial is a Grade II listed; listing number 1378969. The British Medical Association building is a Grade II listed; listing number 1378968.
