View of 82-86 Borough High Street, Southwark. Numbers 84-86 are four-storey buildings with decoration on the roof pediment. On the ground floor, number 86 is THE MAYFLOWER with an oil drum in the porch, and a sign on the first floor: Freehold for Sale Healey & Baker Estate Agents. Number 84 on the ground floor has a sign above the empty shop: A. E. ARTHUR Ltd. These buildings were demolished and redeveloped; and on the site is a bank. Number 82 is a post-war four-storey building built on the site of a building destroyed by bombing in World War II. A sign above the window: SAMUEL BEHR HOUSE. This has also been redeveloped into offices.
