Description
Portico of Unitarian Chapel, Stamford Street, Southwark. Dorset House, an eight-storey office building, can be seen beyond. The portico, built in Doric hexastyle with triglyph frieze and pediment, is the only surviving part of a chapel erected in 1821. The main chapel was demolished in 1964 after it fell into disuse. The portico remains and in 2005, number 57 Stamford Street, an eight-storey apartment building was constructed behind it. The portico is Grade II listed; listing number 1385935.
