Shops in Blackfriars Road
Description
View of 7 Blackfriars Road, Bankside. The building is the premises of G.R. Adams & Co. It has ornate plaster figures and a vase above the first-floor windows and was previously a Lyon's Tea House. Two women look out from a top-floor window. Number 6 has several men in the doorway and on the pavement outside and a Ford Y-Type 2-door saloon car parked in front. The building has broken windows in the upper floors and appears to be derelict. Number 8 is the premises of the Aerated Bread Company. The road is cobbled and has tram tracks. All of the buildings have been demolished.
