Description
View of Bankside, possibly from Broken Wharf on the north side of the Thames. Barges are moored on the river. From left to right, the buildings are Sun Iron Wharf, Stone Wharf (which later became Emmerson Wharf), Imperial Wharf, British Lion Wharf (constructed in 1897 for Craig and Rose who manufactured North Bridge Brand Paints).
